Muscle Movement

The most common questions I get day in and day out are about the muscles and how they work. Here's a little insight on Muscle Movement.
Muscle movement is a fundamental characteristic of life. Motion, both gross and subtle, is an essential body function resulting from the contraction and relaxation of muscles. In humans the musculature constitutes 40-50 % of total body weight and can be considered as the body's largest organ system.
The muscle system has 3 primary functions. 1st, it provides support to the body and containment of internal organs. 2nd, it allows for the movement of the body as a whole, from the skeleton to the blood running through the arteries and veins. 3rd, it provides warmth and the regulation of bodily temperature because of the movement it provides.

Paul, Thank you for sending me a link to your site. It tells your story of wellness. I enjoyed the muscle talk and refreshing my understanding of your approach. Have you all been pleased with your site?

Hey Doc, Great website. Is everything recent(staff). And can you possibly add some more info/educaton on the muscles and body/injury. Or maybe post something new monthly/bi-monthly?
